Drawing from its experience in seating and manufacturing, Evolve Design Solutions was selected by one of North America’s leading manufacturers of office seating to design and engineer an innovative slim asymmetric fully pivoting armrest system. The new armrest and mechanism is comprised of structural diecast zinc and polyurethane foam components. Structural FEA (Finite Element Analysis) was used along with 3D rapid prototyping to validate its final design.
