Innovative DNA Sample Collection Container Developed by Evolve

The new, innovative and patent pending C-POD™ developed by Evolve Design Solutions is a smart DNA sample collection plastic container to preserve genetic material such as buccal cell, tissue, blood/liquid spot prior to laboratory testing. The C-POD™ is moulded flat as a single piece which comprises of a buccal collector, a bottom housing and a top housing which are linked together by folding break-away tabs. The C-POD™ provides a faster, low cost, error free, automated method to manage data, store laboratory samples, and retrieve high value samples for genetic analysis and can be used for DNA Collection for Human and Animal Genetic Sampling.
